Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make C-U Eyecare a proud provider of vision care products and services in Champaign.

Dr. Sara Meyer

Dr. Sara Meyer graduated from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1995 and was board certified the same year. She has been a practicing optometrist for 31 years and has practiced in the Champaign-Urbana area since 1996. She has been co-owner of C-U Eyecare since its opening in 2016. Dr. Meyer and her husband have three children and two dogs. In her spare time she enjoys reading, photography and visiting her children.

Dr. Lisa Heckman

Dr. Lisa Heckman graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 1990 and was licensed/board certified the same year. She has been a practicing optometrist in the Champaign-Urbana area since 2002. She has been co-owner of C-U Eyecare since its opening in 2016. Dr. Heckman and her husband are active members of their church and enjoy spending their spare time with their sixteen grandchildren.
